Complete Trust
When we trust God with an unwavering heart, be assured that our God will keep us in perfect peace. We could experience a delay in the manifestation of His promises, but tarry because when He takes time, it makes us stronger and teaches us to be dependent on Him. Remember that every situation —good or unpleasant is backed up with some delightful surprises from God. So, when we pass through the valley of doubt and delay, let us wait patiently and overcome the phase with prayer and absolute trust in Him that He is at work in our lives to give us a future and hope.
Practical Lesson
When we are in doubt or fear, let us discipline our thoughts to trust in Him. Let us remember that we serve a God who led a nation in the wilderness for 40 years. He is the same God yesterday, today and forever. Be assured that when you trust in Him, He will direct your paths.
Prayer
Father, in Jesus’ name, we pray that you help us build our faith in you each day. Teach me to depend on you by claiming your promises and thereby removing every doubt and uncertainty.
