Boldness to proclaim Gospel
Acts 4:29 When a great persecution arose against the disciples of Jesus Christ, they prayed. Interestingly, they didn’t pray that the persecution may stop or persecutors be judged, punished, or destroyed. Instead, they prayed for boldness to continue being the carriers of the Gospel. Often, when we face opposition or persecution, we are perplexed and fearful. However, the Bible encourages us to bless the ones who curse or harm us; we are called to pray for the ones who spitefully use and persecute us. Above all, we must pray for boldness to withstand the enemy’s opposition and become a blessing amid our struggles and troubles. Dear child of God, remember that persecution is an opportunity to spread the Gospel. So, let’s strive to have the attitude that the early Church displayed. As we submit to His will under all circumstances, we will intervene and work in ways beyond our human understanding. Blessings! |
