Foundation Of Christian Life
Colossians 3: 3-4
This scripture can be interpreted in many ways. It is securing our lives in Christ to the point that we realize that this life doesn’t belong to us but to Him alone. However, another important truth to consider is to understand the words – When Christ, who is our life, appears… This implies that when we begin to manifest the life of Christ through us, we will appear with Him in glory.
If we want ourselves to be lifted up, then we must lift Christ up in our life. Our future, success, and victories depend on this one factor. It is to be mindful of Christ living in us, conscious of His presence with us, and desire to honor, obey and follow Him no matter the cost. Jesus said – If I am lifted, I will lift up everyone along with me. So, as you enthrone Christ in this life, you will one day sit with Him on the throne. On the contrary, if we ignore, neglect, and forget His presence, we are doomed to eternal damnation.
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, let’s strive to manifest Christ through our life. Let our actions, thoughts, and testimony show His grace, kindness, and humility and eventually bring glory to His name. Let Christ be the Lord of our lives, and may God help us always acknowledge His Lordship.
