Confident Assurance
Psalm 115:12-14
Here, the Psalmist declares the heart of God to His people, that He desires to bless us, to increase us so that we may grow. This blessing is not limited to us but to the coming generations. Only when we understand this truth will we remain confident about what God is doing or going to do in our lives, else we are likely to panic when we forget this truth.
Therefore, as a good practice, within the family, we must start by telling how the Lord is mindful of us and how He has blessed us. As we declare these words over each other, saying – may the Lord give you more and may your children be blessed by the God who made heaven and earth, we will realize how intense God’s desire is to bless us.
Dear child of God, remember that the Lord is mindful of you. His blessings are ever flowing and overflowing. Only when you grasp this truth will you never be afraid of the tricks or troubles that evil one tries to bring into your life.
