God’s mysterious ways

Ephesians 3:20-21

God always works beyond our imaginations, more than what we can ask for, because His ways are higher than our ways. The fundamental truth is that God is infinitely greater than all of us, and that’s why when He works, it is always beyond our imagination and measure.

When the children of Israel had to cross the Red Sea, we know that back then or even today, there was no such ship that could carry more than a million people, including livestock. And then, God divided the Red Sea to make way for the people to cross to the other side. Undoubtedly, His ways are beyond our imagination. Likewise, He cared for the people in the wilderness by providing food from the sky and water from rocks.

And when we move on to the time when kings ruled Israel. We read that King Jehoshaphat won over Moabites and Ammonites not with swords or state-of-the-art artillery but with a band of praising priests. Likewise, in the New Testament, we read in the Gospels that the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords chose a stable in an obscure place instead of a royal palace.

Dear brothers and sisters, I want you to realize that when God works in your life, it is always beyond your imagination. When things or situations are not in your favour, don’t be discouraged that God isn’t working, but realize that He has great plans you cannot grasp. Remember that He delights to bless His children in exceeding and abundant ways. And all those who trust in Him will never be put to shame.

God Bless!
