Hearing HIS Voice
John 8:47
The Bible talks much about listening to God’s Word because when we do that, we will always hear God’s heart and understand His will. Jesus emphasizes the same in the story of the rich man and Lazarus. It is our bounded duty to read, meditate, speak the Word and claim His Word as the promises of God and use the great wisdom that lies in it.
The Word of God is given to us so that we may know and understand what God speaks and intends in our lives. Remember that the heavens and earth may pass away, but His Word will remain from everlasting to everlasting.
Dear child of God, I encourage you to pay attention to God’s Word. Only when we receive it will our faith increase. By faith alone, we can weather the storms of life and truly believe that the impossible things become possible. Let us, therefore, incline our ears and mind to hear His still small voice.
