The Divine Help

Ezra 4: 4-5

The adversary is always on the job to increase the troubles for God’s people. Here, Zerubbabel’s and his associates’ efforts to restore the temple were met with stiff opposition and false accusations. Then God uses his prophet- Zechariah, to remind that it is not by might, not by power, but by His spirit, that work is accomplished. (Zechariah 4:6)

Every time we move forward to accomplish God’s purpose, we face opposition, often enormous and beyond our capacity to handle it. However, we must remember that it is not by our wisdom, strength, calibre, influence, or money that we can overcome, but only with the spirit of God can we handle life’s challenging situations.

Dear child of God, be encouraged to believe that every mountain will be levelled, and by His Grace, with shouts of joy, we will lay the foundation and complete whatever we start for His glory. (Zechariah 4:7-9). Remember that for every opposition. God has provided His grace, and His grace is sufficient.

Blessings!
